An amendment to the Regulation on the Certification of Simple Accommodation Facilities and Beach Businesses revises the obligations on reception, first aid, hygiene, pool safety and lifeguard employment. The new minimum standards take effect on 1 November 2026.
The law contains provisions on deferring investigations and prosecutions for certain offences, and on deferring the execution of final convictions. Whether the system applies depends on the prescribed conditions being confirmed by a National Security Council decision published in the Official Gazette.
